LINE CLEARANCE CERTIFIED TREE CLIMBER/ TREE WORKER

Job Description:

Using climbing and rigging techniques, cut away dead or excess branches or complete removal of tree to maintain right-of-way for roads, sidewalks, or utilities, or to improve appearance, health, and value of tree. Prune or treat trees using chainsaws, hydro saws, and handsaws. Works off the ground in the tree canopy utilizing truck-mounted lifts.

General Tasks:

Climb trees and or utilize truck mounted lift to access work areas.

Cut down dead and dying trees away from power lines, structures, easements, and right of ways. Trim away dead and excess branches from trees.

Clean, sharpen, and lubricate tools and equipment.

Supervise others engaged in tree trimming work and train lower-level employees.

Assist in clearing work sites, streets, and grounds of woody and vegetative materials, such as tree bowls and limbs.

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience:

Tree Climbing: minimum 18 months of climbing experience

Line Clearance (preferred)

Class A Driver (preferred)
